Natural Home cork coasters & organic cotton pot holders

Carter and I bought a set of 4 cork coasters at Target for about $4.00 and a couple of organic cotton pot holders at about $3.00 a piece, both are made by a company called Natural Home. A portion of all net proceeds from the products are donated to American Forests to help offset the carbon dioxide created in the manufacture and transport of their products, and as an added bonus the containers and tags are printed on recycled paper. Each product, and they have quit a few, have information on the back about the product. The cork coasters are obviously made of cork , a natural material, and it indicates that the harvesting of cork bark does not harm the tree.  For more information about cork bark see www.corkinstitute.com/harvest.html. We love these nice additions to our home and both products will save us damage to our counters and table tops.
