		<description>Hi Beverly, thanks for reading, we were amazed at the tenacity of the squirrel and couldn&#039;t believe how close he got to  the Red Shoulder hawk!
The squirrel did indeed look like an adult so I guess the hawk would have backed down...</description>

		<description>Have never had a Red Shoulder go after a fully adult squirrel.  I have never seen one take a baby squirrel, although I&#039;m sure they would if presented with the opportunity.  Don&#039;t think the hawk would tackle the adult squirrel.</description>
