Can we Celebrate a Greener St. Patricks Day?

With St. Patricks day fast approaching our minds turned to our top priority for March… “Re-using”!
We already have a very eco-friendly Easter ritual which involves a family craft-a-thon where we re-use egg shells, news paper, cardboard etc. to create special Easter decorations but can we do the same thing for St. Patricks day?

As a family we certainly have enough re-usable material to create some cool looking decorations, this is so much better for the environment than buying new, so we started to trawl our cupboards, garages and loft spaces for things to turn into our Irish Green decor!

After a while it was pretty obvious that you don’t have to be “buy new” to celebrate a cool St. Patty’s Day, we are going to only use decorations made from reusable items that we already have around the house.  Examples of items we are using are supplies like egg cartons, cardboard, paper, boxes, string, crayons, paint, and glue… Checkout some neat  St. Patricks extra green creations;
