My husband and I have taken quite a few bike rides in the fall and spring; cruising the many biking trails available in the area. Hi Anecdote, thanks for your comments, yes indeed, this product attaches to your bicycle and as you travel it harnesses wind and solar energy to charge low power products such as a cell phone or ipod. They’re great!
This is a great idea but a dynamo/generator driven by the bike’s wheel will produce far more power for powering and charging. Take a look at http://www.econvergence.net/cyclech.htm It has a USB port that you can plug your device right into to power.
I tghouht I’d have to read a book for a discovery like this!
