More and more people nowadays are claiming that they are “going green”. However, how many of us realize our daily negative effect on the environment to the fullest? We cause pollution and we are the ones suffering because of it. When it comes to resources, it’s important to preserve what we have and to think of the coming generations. We throw away food, don’t recycle and go everywhere by car. All of these and more cause an extremely dirty environment. One of the toughest times in a person’s life is moving house. Whether it’s because of a sale, an eviction, divorce or for downsizing, relocations are hard to organize and go through. What can we do in order to move house in a green way?
The first rule is to start living simpler and get rid of clutter in an eco-friendly manner. The more we store, the more packing material we need to be able to move it all. When the time comes to clean the house before the move out, make sure that you avoid using non green chemicals. Look for cleaning products that are less toxic – there are plenty of these on the market.
With just a little bit of knowledge, you can move in a way that’s not harmful to the environment – it’s easier than you think.
