Shout Out to the Green Genius Company!

We wrote back in February about a wonderful group of individuals committed to changing the way we look at plastic bags. Our article was about the biodegradable trash bags that the Green Genius Company makes. The Green Genius Company makes a wide range of biodegradable plastic bags and has recently introduced biodegradable food storage bags to their line of products.

Last week they sent us some freebies for helping them get their name out into the green-o-sphere;

We love the big green shopping tote and will be using it for our groceries to help spread the word about biodegradable plastics.

As for the new line of biodegradable food storage bags, they are truly awesome. I’ve already started packing my sandwiches for work using them and the double zipper seals keep my lunch perfectly stored until its “Eatin Time!”

Once again, we have to say a big thankyou to the Green Genius Company and their commitment to the environment.

  1. I commend Green Genius as well. Biodegradable bags produced from plant materials have such an advantage over the old petroleum-based bags. For those of you that are interested, here are a few more companies that make biodegradable bags: Perf Go Green, BioBag, 7th Generation, Magnolia and J-Tren Systems.

  2. I’m committed to your garbage bags. I bought several ‘trial’ size ones when they first came out but have not found any permanent ones on the shelves- what gives? These should be in every store in the nation by now- I owned a country store for 29 years and would have had these on my shelves. Where can I purchase these- I’ve just used the last of my trial sized ones.

  3. cannot find these anywhere anymore :( discontinued on every webstore that i have visited and they are not in any store that I live near (in southern CA). Website said its down for maintenance…Did it go out of business???
