Wind Up Power – Our Favorite Power Cut Technology

We experienced a late night power cut last night and with a full moon and zero power in our subdivision there was a very “Gotham City” feel to the night! After lighting several candles we realized how quiet the house is without any ceiling fans or air conditioning running! I got our wind up power emergency radio out and after a few minutes cranking the handle we were listening to our local radio stations (Very reassuring amidst the spooky darkness!)
